Ronald “Pete” Duane Bogguss

Ronald “Pete” Duane Bogguss, 80, of Kahoka passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, MO.

He was born September 8, 1944 in Clark County, MO the son of Harold and Joyce Christian Bogguss.

He worked for Schusters in Kansas doing road construction for many years. He also did custom bull dozing when his children were younger for many years.

He is survived by his children, Michael Bogguss of Kahoka, Laura Long of Clark, MO and Melissa Hyde of Revere, three grandchildren, Ashley, Trevor and Kylee and three great grandchildren, Noah, Nicholas and Destiny. He is also survived by four sisters, Judy Pauly (Herb), Brenda Kay Jones, Sherry Parietti (Chuck) and Linda Huckriede.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Terry Jones, a brother, Ike Bogguss, a brother-in-law, Dave Huckriede and a nephew, Jody Dale Jones.

A gathering for friends and family will be held from 5 – 8 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the St. Francisville Community Center in St. Francisville.

There will also be a gathering October 12th. More details will follow.
