Charles “Chuck” Terry, 65, of Hamilton, IL passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
He was born on May 13, 1959 in Quincy, IL, the son of Edwin C. and Florence (Buhre) Terry.
He graduated from Mendon High School with the class of 1977 and furthered his education at Bailey Technical Institute. Following his graduation he was employed at Hubinger Company for 34 years as mid-management supervisor. He retired in 2018.
Chuck was united in marriage to Reva Bailey Henoch on June 20, 2009. She survives.
He attended Zion Church in Ursa, IL.
Chuck loved playing golf and in his younger years also played basketball. He enjoyed time spent fishing with his grandsons. He also was a great Canasta player and was very competitive.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Amber (Andrew) Hall and Emily (Dalton) Bohl both of Hamilton, IL and four stepsons, Jesse Henoch of Hamilton, John Henoch of Keokuk, Jacob Henoch of Fort Bragg, CA and Jonah Henoch of Carthage, IL. Also his grandchildren, Brayden Hall, Jackson Hall, Grayson Hall, Jaiden Bohl, Austin Bohl, Kyson Bohl, Genesis Bohl, John R. Henoch, Brogan Henoch, Gianna Henoch, Lincoln Henoch, Delia Henoch, Phoebe Henoch and Lona Henoch. He is also survived by his siblings, Ronnie (Kathleen) Terry, Everett Terry and Rose Mary Nesbit.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Ken Nesbit.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Vigen Memorial Home, Keokuk, IA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made by planting a tree.
