Iowa schools will remain closed for the rest of the school year in an effort to continue to curb the spread of COVID-19 infections. Across the state of Iowa currently, 2,332 people have been positively diagnosed with COVID-19 with 64 official deaths.
“I would like nothing more than to stand before you and say Iowa schools will be open in May, but that’s just not the case”, Gov. Kim Reynolds stated in her daily news confrence.
The Governor called on school districts to submit plans to provide online continuing education effort for their district’s students.
