Gov Reynolds: Iowa Retail Businesses To Close To The Public As COVID-19 Cases Rise

The Governor’s daily afternoon address today released the following new closures, suspensions, and extensions.
As of 10 pm this evening, the closure on Iowa restaurants and bars will be extended another week until April 7th. In addition, many Iowa retail businesses will be closed to the public, including book, clothing, shoe, jewelry, beauty, furniture, and home decor stores among others. Floral stores were also among the closures.
The Governor also suspended many non-essential medical procedures. Iowa confirmed cases of COVID-19 rose to 179 today.
