The Keokuk School Board met tonight to approve a new Varsity Football Coach and found one in Josh Roberts.

Coach Roberts is nothing new to the athletes at KHS. As the Personal Strength Teacher and Varsity Offensive Coordinator Josh was the right hand man under former Varsity Coach Quinten Hamner.

Principal Adam Magliari and Athletic Director Zach Summers both felt “that they have a pretty outstanding assistant couching staff and that their next head coach was already here in Keokuk.”

Coach Roberts wasn’t the only newly appointed Coach.

Mandi Moore, KHS’s new Family and Consumer Science teacher has been named Keokuk High School’s new head Softball Coach.

“Coach Moore graduated from Ottumwa High School and pitched at Indian Hills and then Iowa State. Her experience at the Jr. College and Division 1 softball levels gives her a wealth of knowledge that will help our girls out on the field and in the recruiting aspect as well” said AD Summers
