Both the boys and girls bowling teams for Keokuk are headed back to the state meet as they each won their 2A Regional on Wednesday afternoon.
The boys team shot a 3099 to win the title and junior Kody Sapp won the individual championship with a 438 on the day.
Senior Jarrett West and sophomore Patrick Goetz each also scored over 400 with 428 and 400, respectively, while junior Reese Krebill was close behind with a 397.
With the win Keokuk is now 14-0 on the season.
On the girls’ side, they posted a score of 2633 to clinch the title. They also had the individual champion as Lyndie Dodson posted one of the best scores of her senior season with a 405.
Sophomore Paige Worrell followed with a 371 and classmate Megan Cook had a 352. All six members of the squad bowled at least a 305 while all of the boys were above 360.
Keokuk is now 14-1 in girls bowling. The 2A State Meet will be next Tuesday in Waterloo.
