In Wednesday night hoop action, the Keokuk Chiefs lost another close game, this time to the West Hancock Titans, 51-47.
At one point trailing by 16, the Chiefs fought back and created a back and forth game in the closing minutes.
Both teams had one of their top players foul out late in the contest with Alex Wolter for Keokuk and Drake Hammel for West Hancock watching the last minutes from the bench.
Keokuk led 47-46 with around 45 seconds left before a floater from Titan point guard Peyton Dooley found the bottom of the net to give the lead to West Hancock with 42 seconds left.
